BACKGROUND
As an expansion of their customer service offering, VirMedica wanted to create a new portal with features and workflows to help simplify how doctors access therapy for their patients. The client had created a wire concept using Axshare for initial direction. They wanted a final design that would complement their own corporate brand and handle private label opportunities and client branding.
The extensive experience among the NobleRock team with designing user portals provided VirMedica with valuable insights and direction. This resulted in a more engaging and thoughtful experience with simpler workflows for all user-types.
SOLUTION
NobleRock undertook a comprehensive audit and review of all workflows and features to determine a best practice design approach for a better end-user experience.
Our team created initial design options that presented the VirMedica brand solution and illustrated how key components and templates could be altered to compliment customer and partner brand solutions. We presented key data and functionality in clean and organized workflows.
The final design reflected smart workflows for a better user experience. The design and layout presented an intuitive portal navigation plan that provided a friendly and practical solution.

RESULTS
Following successful design completion, VirMedica asked the NobleRock team to build a functional prototype solution for sales presentations. We didn’t just create an HTML click through. We built a practical working solution presenting a partial data feed in the final designed style sheets. Our design solution and recommendations became the foundation for full development.
The prototype was fully functional with all buttons and variable actions resulting in meaningful returns and simulated patient data views. The prototype also had a functioning search and filter tool and included working levels of navigation.
