BACKGROUND
NobleRock Creative was tasked with designing a suite of collateral for Apixio that reflected the recently completed new brand enhancements. Included as a project requirement was the request for Master Templates that could be used for all Apixio documentation for internal and external audiences.

Master Collateral Template/Suite
We applied the new brand visual look and strategic messaging as part of our overhaul when creating each master template. An Adobe InDesign master template to cover all marketing and promotional literature including: corporate brochure; product sheets; case studies; executive summaries; white papers; issue briefs; infographics; promotional/publication/advertising/print.
A second master template was designed in Microsoft Word to cover more expansive documentation needs including: product support and manuals; press releases; legal documentation; RFP, MSA, SOW, NDA templates; tutorials and guides.

Unique Branded Icon Suite & Icon Master Template
Creating a unique branded style for icons is important when trying to differentiate from competitors. Keeping the icons simple and supportive of key messages is also very important. Icons don’t tell a story. They support the story and it is important that they reflect what they stand for in order to avoid confusion and noise. We created two icon suites for Apixio, a full suite for digital and presentation needs and a second suite for more specialized use instances. Both suites used the same template for icon generation and conform with the desired design direction and brand image.
RESULTS
The collateral suite and master templates proved to be a great success in supporting and sharing the new brand image and message positioning. We created many of the much-needed documents with an elevated brand style. This allowed us to provide the marketing and sales teams with a suite of tools ready to use and a template master ready for continued expansion and with lots of creative flexibility. Our approach was clean, simple, and direct, using white space and a modern approach to information design and layout.
Creating a Master Collateral Suite template ensures that any marketing, sales or communication outreach continues to support, reinforce and build the brand image and awareness. Creativity is important but continuity is key.
